Four times a year, we get the Waikato business community together to enjoy a drink and a laugh.
We hold events quarterly, and nearly 3000 people attend over 17 events. It's probably the most popular business networking event in town!
It's more like a cocktail party without your drink friend than a networking meet-up.
There's nothing quite like that LinkedIn Local Hamilton vibe.

The best (probably) networking event in town... And it's FREE!
The events are about meeting new people like you might down at the pub. But more civilised... People who attend the events are typically the sort of people who take their career seriously.
It's a more relaxed environment than your usual networking event; we don't encourage getting a sales pitch from a stranger. Make a connection first, talk business later. People do business with people they like and trust.
Sponsorship from local businesses funds the events. The venue changes event-to-event and has included Zealong Tea, Claudelands, Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts, Wintec's Atrium and the Meteor Theatre. Hamilton is lucky to have many amazing event venues.
Each event has a business theme, with a Q&A panel of reputable local business people, sharing their stories and expertise.
Linkedin Local Hamilton has raised over $10,000 for charities, including RAW (Annah Stretton Foundation), and SEED Waikato.
